PLAYER HUB
Everything you need to know about being apart of the
Pali Football Program. The team is apart of the Los Angeles City Section and plays in the Western League. Our colors are Royal and Columbia Blue and White. Our mascot is the Dolphin. We field both a Varsity and Junior Varsity team and do not have a Frosh/Soph team.

PLAYER COSTS
Each season our team fundraises to cover the costs for each player to be apart of the team. Our 2025 season projected cost is $1400 per player, and PCHS covers about $400 of this. The rest is covered by your fundraising efforts! For more information of what is included in the costs per player each season, please visit our Pali Quarterback Club page.
Players have 3 options to cover their costs:
1) Join the team Snap Raise fundraiser (May-June) that generates a donation platform through the Snap Raise app. This can be shared with family and community to raise your player costs.
2) Cover your player costs with a donation of $1000 with this payment link. You can also share this link with family and community to fundraise for your player costs.
3) Connect with us to be apart of our Player Sponsorship program. Sponsorship will connect players with additional support to cover seasonal costs. Please email PALIQBCLUB@GMAIL.COM for further information.
If you would like to donate to the Player Sponsorship program, please use this payment link. Your donation will ensure our program is supported and thriving!

ATHLETIC CLEARENCE
Parents/guardians of ALL (new/returning) athletes must complete their Athletic Clearance Online Registration at www.athleticclearance.com. You must complete the online registration process and upload a copy of your child’s most recent physical paperwork. THIS IS DUE JULY 21st, 2025. This must be current and not expire in season.
Athletic Clearance involves this Physical Paperwork form that must be printed and filled out by a medical professional conducting the sports physical for your player. Be sure to contact your doctor in plenty of time before the 7/21/25 deadline. You can also use CVS Minuet Clinic for a sports physical.

ANNUAL REGISTRATION
All students (new/returning) interested in playing football MUST register by filling out this online form. This will enable us to add you to our team communications and to the coach's roster of incoming players.
EMERGENCY CARD
All players must fill out this online Emergency Card each season.
CONCUSSION TESTING
Before the season begins each player will need to have a Baseline Test registered. This is an online test that takes about 30 mins and MUST BE CONDUCTED BY THE PLAYER ONLY. This test will help determine if any player has a concussion during an injury. Baseline Testing is conducted by a certified program trainer at the Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute. In June, players will receive an email direclty from the program coordinator with a link to complete the test.

CODE OF CONDUCT
Being apart of the Pali Football Team means you are committed to being an upstanding student athlete and teammate. All players are required to sign this online Code of Conduct Contract
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS
All student athletes must have a 2.0 minimum GPA. Any athletes who falls below the minimum 2.0 GPA at the 10-week report card will not be allowed to finish the season.
TEAM CUTS & PLAYING TIME
Team size is limited to 55 players. If a player cannot commit to practice and games every day from the first day of official practice in July through the end of the season, then they may be removed from the team. Players that deserve playing time will be the ones who play. Every week in practice all boys have a fair shot to improve their position on the depth chart. The coaches will guide them towards a position to play that will be in their best interest, as well as the teams.

PRACTICE UNIFORMS
All players are required to have Pali football practice shirts and shorts. These uniforms are also worn during our tournaments. Practice uniforms are worn everyday starting with summer practice in June. Make sure to order your practice gear before June 1st 2025.
HELMETS & EQUIPMENT
Pali High will provide the following equipment: helmets, helmet caps, shoulder pads and home and away uniforms (jersey, pants) to all players. In addition, we provide an equipment bag and a practice jersey and pants for in-season participation. These items are distributed during the mandatory practice season each summer and must be returned to the program at the end of the season on the date specified by the coach. Players are also given a Game Day Polo Shirt from PQBC, to be worn by all players throughout the season on Game Day Fridays.
Equipment required but not provided by Pali High: Players are REQUIRED to wear black, white or royal blue football cleats (no other colors in cleats are allowed), mouth guards and 7 piece- girdle that include a tail pad, thigh pads, knee pads and hip pads to be worn under their game pants. Some players may also choose to purchase their own helmet chinstraps, pads for skill position players and protective undergarments such as padded tech shirts.
If you would like to purchase your own helmet please visit our PERSONAL HELMET page for all the information you need for customization and required off-season reconditioning.
PLAYER EQUIPMENT CONTRACT
Equipment distribution will be organized by grade and the schedule will be announced on the team app. Once players are issued their uniforms, equipment, helmets, and gear bags they are responsible for keeping track and taking care of these items. An equipment contract is required to acknowledge this responsibility and the cost for any loses. Please review and sign your online EQUIPMENT CONTRACT HERE.

PRACTICE
ALL IMPORTANT DATES ARE COMMUNICATED THROUGH THE TEAM APP. You can also find these dates on our SCHEDULE page.
-
Spring Training is held in May.
-
Summer practice information is posted on the team app to all returning players regularly. Coach Smith sets the expectation that participating in the summer training session is crucial to field time and skills training that is needed to be an active player on the team. It is strongly recommended that players prioritize attending the full summer practice. For new players this begins June 23rd and returning players starts June 30. Summer practice runs until July 28, please see the SCHEDULE page for full details.
-
Mandatory practice begins July 28th, during which players must attend or they will not be eligible to play as per CIF rules.
-
During the Fall Semester, players should be enrolled in the 7th period Football class. They will receive PE credit and a grade for this class. During the season, practices are held daily during 7th period and after school, typically until 6:00pm Monday through Friday.

GAME DAYS
Traditionally, the team will be provided LUNCH on Game Days. Players are required to meet during the designated lunch period and eat together as a team. You do not need to pack a lunch on Fridays, though it is also advised that players bring a snack to eat after school such as a granola bar. Parents will be asked to sign up to help set up food for lunch. Players should always wear their team-issued Game Day Polo Shirt on Game Day Fridays.
Due to the Palisades Wildfires we will not have our stadium for Home games during the 2025 season. Home game locations are TBD and all updates will be posted to the team app.
If players are dismissed before school ends to travel to a game, the head coach will communicate this directly with the players. Depending on the size of the roster, some players may not travel to some away games.
For JV players, bus transportation is provided to all away games. After away games, JV players return on the bus back to Pali. If you want to pick up your players from the away campus, you must let the coach know IN ADVANCE by completing the Post-game Player Ride Home form. Bringing your student athlete home from the game is preferred by the Coaching Staff so they may stay to watch varsity. For Varsity, all players must take the team bus to away games. A bus transports the Varsity team back to Pali South.

END OF THE SEASON
When the season is over, players still report to football for their 7th period class. During this hour they will either lift weights or report to study hall if needed. Uniforms must be turned in cleaned. Collection of equipment will be organized by grade and the schedule will be posted to the team app.
ALL UNIFORMS MUST RETURNED CLEANED
We celebrate the end of our season with our annual Team Banquet.
In the Spring semester, players have the option of taking Football Conditioning during 6th period and will receive PE credit and a grade for the class.
